Body of Christ Prayer and Confessions

Prayer for The Church: Now, Lord, we pray for The Church. We say, “Awake to righteousness! Awake to holiness! Awake to Him who died for you! Awake to Him who ever lives for you! Awake to the will of the Lord. Be filled with the Holy Spirit! Be filled with the Word of God! Be filled with the Glory of the Lord! Turn from all wicked ways, humble yourselves before the Lord, pray and return fully to your first Love. In Jesus’ Name!”  (Ephesians 5:14–18;  2 Chronicles 7:14) Proverbs 10:6,7,11,22 -  Blessings are on the head of the righteous. The memory of the righteous is blessed. The mouth of the righteous is a fountain of life. It is the blessing of the Lord that makes rich, and He adds no sorrow to it. Romans 1:16 - We are not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes. (Power for healing & power for prosperity too) Proverbs 20:7 - A righteous man who walks in his integrity - how blessed are his sons after him. Jesus is the Administratio

Apostles Creed

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, God's only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to the dead. On the third day he rose again; he ascended into heaven, He is seated at the right hand of the Father, and He will come again to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit the holy christian church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness  of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. AMEN. This is not a Religious prayer as some would think. This prayer comes straight from the Word of God. The Bible is our guide and we need to follow it. So many translations to offer you just have to find the one that fits you. The creator of heaven and earth wants you to believe in Him. He invites us to believe in Him. Think about how excited you are when you get an invitation to a party or

Pray for the Awaking (Needs spell check)

(Some of this prayer is incorporated in my prayer for United States & Israel) Prayer for the President: Father, First Timothy Chapter 2 says to pray for all of those in authority. In Jesus’ Name, we pray for the President. We ask that You give him skillful and godly wisdom and surround him with wise counsel. We pray for safety and protection over him and his family. In Jesus’ Name, amen. (1 Tim. 2:1; Eph. 1:16–23) Prayer for the Safety of our Nation: Psalms 33:12 (NKJV) says, “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people He has chosen as His own inheritance.” So we say, “God, bless America and keep her and cause Your face to shine upon her. Father, we thank You that no evil will befall America and no calamity will come near her dwelling place. In Jesus’ Name, amen.” (Psalms 67:1; Psalms 91) Prayer for Righteousness in Our Nation: Righteousness means an awakening to God’s Word and His ways. In Jesus’ Name, we pray that America awakes to righteousness and sins not.  (I Co

The Our Father Defined

Some of this is incorporated in other prayers.  When Jesus taught the Our Father in the Bible it wasn't meant to be a prayer. It was meant to be a model we follow after. I learned this many years ago from Larry Lea and want to share it with you. Years ago when I first got born again I learned what the Our Father prayer was broke down. I have learned somethings differently since then. I kept it all these years because there is some good stuff here. As an example Andrew Wommack says his needs are met simply because he spends all his days all day long fellow shipping and thanking God. He doesn't agree with just having a morning prayer time and being done.   Our Father Who Art in Heaven. Ps. 100 - "Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise." We should always enter His gates with praise. It might not always be easy but I will tell you this that if you didn't feel like it when you started by the time you are done praising it will change you
